ARNNL is the regulatory body and professional association for all 6,300 registered nurses and nurse practitioners in the province. Since 1954, ARNNL has been granted the authority through the Registered Nurses Act (2008) to regulate the profession and to advocate for healthy public policy in the public interest.

As a vital part of your health care team, RNs are committed to:

  • practicing safely, competenly, compassionately and ethically, and are accountable to the client, employer, profession and the public;
